Supply Chain Management: University Parallel, A.S. (TTP)


This program is provided as a guide for students who plan to earn an associate of science degree for transfer toward a bachelor of science degree at other colleges or universities. For students wishing to study business but who do not plan to continue for bachelor’s degrees, the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Concentration: Business, A.A.S.  is available.

1Recommend Guided Electives are LOGI 1300 - Introduction to Logistics and Supply Chain Management BUSN 2370 - Legal Environment of Business CITC 2308 - Data Analytics Spreadsheets CITC 1370 - Statistics for Data Analytics  or CITC 1303 - Database Concepts .

2Students who seek an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree should take the history sequence required by the senior institution.  For UT system universities, one course in Tennessee History may be substituted for one course in American History.

3Students transferring to ETSU, MTSU, TSU or UTK should take MATH 1630 - Finite Mathematics .  Students transferring to TTU, UOM, UTC or UTM should take a college algebra course.

4Recommend PHIL 1040 - Introduction to Ethics .  See advisor for additional recommendations.

5Recommend BIOL 1020 - Diversity of Life  or BIOL 1120 - General Biology II 

6MATH 1830 - Applied Calculus  or equivalent calculus course is required at UTK, UOM, UTC and UTM.  MATH 1830 - Applied Calculus or equivalent is NOT required at UTM, TTU, ETSU or MTSU so students may elect to take an additional guided elective. 

7Students who paln to transfer to UTK must complete MATH 2050 - Calculus-Based Probability and Statistics .
