Psychology Emphasis: University Parallel, A.A. (TTP)


This program is provided for students who plan to earn an Associate of Arts degree and transfer to a senior institution to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in the field of Psychology.  This program includes two Foreign Language courses.  Interested students should contact their advisor.

1Students transferring to TSU, University of Memphis or UT Martin should take a college algebra course.

2One year sequence in a single foreign language.  (University majors may need to be at the 2000-level competency of a foreign language to earn the Bachelor of Arts degree; consider taking a second year of the same language in semesters 3 and 4.)

3Students transferring to ETSU must complete a sequence in Natural Science.

4UT Knoxville students should complete a sequence in Western or World History.

5At UT Chattanooga and the University of Memphis, Social Psychology and Abnormal Psychology will be counted as electives and not major courses.
