Sports and Leisure Management Emphasis: University Parallel, A.S.

This Associate of Science degree is a University Parallel with an emphasis in Sports and Leisure Management that will provide a pathway for students who are currently planning to transfer to a university to complete a bachelors degree. The Sports and Leisure Management Concentration provides a broad-based education in sports and leisure management designed to prepare students for a successful career in the sports and recreational industry.

1Students should check with the institution and program to which they intend to transfer for guidance when selecting Natural Sciences and Humanities/Fine Arts electives.

2Students who seek an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree should take the history sequence required by the senior institution.  For UT system universities, one course in Tennessee History may be substituted for one course in American History.

3At least one literature course is required.
