Cloud Computing Concentration: Computer Information Technology, A.A.S.

The Cloud Concentration focuses on the design, implementation, management and troubleshooting of computing platforms.  Required courses prepare students to acquire, install, configure, upgrade and secure standalone, networked, mobile and cloud-based systems. Areas of emphasis include major industry cloud service providers. Required courses are A+ Hardware and Software, Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems, Windows Server I and Cloud Computing. Certifications applicable to this concentration may include CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Linux LPIC-1 and CompTIA Cloud+ among others.

This is a technical program designed to prepare students for employment.  This program is not a transfer program, although many institutions accept all or part of the coursework toward a bachelor’s degree.
