Network Systems Design Technical Certificate

This certificate is designed for those students pursuing employment in the computer service industry. The curriculum is designed to provide a student with the background knowledge of hardware, software and technical skills required to install and maintain computer networks and systems.

This program prepares the student for industry-recognized certification(s). These specific industry-recognized certifications are a leading factor in the successful employment of information technology personnel. The candidates that successfully complete each of these certifications and enter the workforce will be prepared to design and implement a network infrastructure for business solutions based on the Microsoft and CompTIA standards. The industry-recognized certifications associated with each of these courses prepare the student for both Microsoft and CompTIA exams. The student should be advised that the completion of these courses only prepares them to take each of the associated industry certification exams and does NOT certify them. It is the student’s responsibilty to register and successfully pass each exam. All courses in this program apply toward the A.A.S. in Computers and Information Systems or Computer Information Technology.
