This course is designed primarily to provide the student with lectures and simulated clinical activities related to the entry-level skills performed by Medical assistants in a physician’s office lab (POL). A variety of common diagnostic laboratory tasks typical of a physician’s office or ambulatory clinic will be completed through performance of supervised lab assignments and skills competency evaluations. Three hours lecture and two hours lab per week. (Prerequisite(s): MDCA 2403.) S
