MATH 0800 - Math 1 for Learning Support

3 credits


 This course is for students who have placed into Mathematics Learning Support.  It provides the opportunity to work on some or all of the following skills sets based on diagnostic assessment: real number sense and operations, operations with algebraic expressions (including polynomials), solving equations (emphasis on linear equations/inequalities), analyzing graphs (emphasis on linear functions and graphs, including inequalities), and mathematical modeling and critical thinking.  Mastery of at least three units is necessary to earn a passing grade in this course.
