Exercise Science Emphasis: University Parallel, A.S. (TTP)


This program is provided for students who plan to earn an Associate of Science degree for transfer toward a Bachelor of Science degree at another college or university.

Students planning to teach or work in the corporate/community health industry, physical education, exercise science or kinesiology should consider this curriculum.

1Students who seek an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree should take the history sequence required by the senior institution.  For UT system universities, one course in Tennessee History may be substituted for one course in American History.

This transfer path is not available at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and the University of Memphis. However, a similar pathway is available for students who wish to major in Kinesiology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Interested students should contact their advisor.
