Systems Administration and Management Concentration: Computer Information Technology, A.A.S.

The Systems Administration and Management Concentration focuses on the design, implementation, management and troubleshooting of computer systems.  Required courses prepare students to acquire, install, configure, upgrade and secure standalone, networked and mobile systems. Areas of emphasis include Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems. Required courses are A+ Hardware and Software, Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems and Windows Server Administration. Certifications applicable to this concentration may include CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, and Linux LPIC-1 among others.
