¹Students transferring to a university should check the requirements at that school. The Tennessee Transfer Pathways allows for two Natural Science courses in two different disciplines, although most universities recommend CHEM 1110 - General Chemistry I  and CHEM 1120 - General Chemistry II  or PHYS 2110 - Calculus Based Physics I  and PHYS 2120 - Calculus Based Physics II .

²Students who seek an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree should take the history sequence required by the senior institution.

³It is recommended that ECON 2100 - Principles of Macroeconomics  and ECON 2200 - Principles of Microeconomics  be taken for most universities.
