The Criminal Justice emphasis is designed to prepare students for transfer to a bachelor’s degree granting institution. This program prepares students for more advanced study in a pathway through which students can pursue careers in law enforcement, the legal system or corrections.

1Students who intend to transfer to UT Martin should take Algebra or higher to fulfill the Mathematics requirement.

2Students who intend to transfer to UT Knoxville should take six credit hours of a non-U.S. History sequence to fulfill the History requirement. Students who intend to transfer to UT Martin should take a U.S. History sequence to fulfill the History requirement.

3Students who intend to transfer to UT Martin should take a Biology sequence to fulfill the Natural Sciences requirement; BIOL 1110 - General Biology I  and BIOL 1120 - General Biology II  are recommended.

4Check with the institution and program to which you intend to transfer for guidance when selecting general electives.
