MATH 1830 - Basic Calculus

3 credits


♦ Topics to include limits and continuity, differentiation and integration of polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, radical and rational functions, definite integrals, The Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, La Grange multiplers, optimization, and solving applications in business, probability, statistics and science. Graphing Calculator required. Three hours per week. (Prerequisite(s): Two years of high school algebra and one year of high school geometry MATH 1710 or high school advanced math recommended.)
