MATH 1720 - Precalculus II

3 credits


 ♦ Unit circle, circular, trigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions, graphing, trigonometric indentities, trigonometric equations, right triangles, law of sines, law of cosines, vectors, polar and rectangular coordinates, complex numbers in polar form, DeMoivre’s Theorem, parametric equations, sequences. Graphing calculator required–see course syllabus for details. Three hours per week. (Prerequisite(s): Two years of high school algebra or DSPM 0850 and one year of high school geometry MATH 1710 recommended.) F, S
