MECH 2490 - Manufacturing Applications

 A study of manufacturing improvement processes in a mechatronics system for real world applications. Topics covered will include process variation, waste reduction, continuous improvement and basic time study methods. Students will work as a team to apply improvement methods in a real world application with a final presentation. Three hours lecture and two hours lab per week. (Prerequisite(s): MECH 2440 and 2441.)
