♦ An introduction to the theatre arts to increase the understanding and critical appreciation of live theater with a brief overview of its history. This course will emphasize drama as practical application in production with study topics including character development, directing, technical production, and set design through reading and analyzing plays, attending local theatrical productions, and experiencing lab work in the school’s theatrical production.
