CHEM 1010 - Introduction to Chemistry I4 credits
♦ For students with no previous chemistry course. Scientific measurements and significant figures; atomic and molecular structure, bonding, equation writing and stoichiometry, compound classification, gas, liquid and solid states, solutions, acids/bases; introduction to organic chemistry. Three hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory applications each week. (Prerequisite(s): All required learning support courses must be completed.) F,S
