MATH 1820 - Basic Calculus II

3 credits


A continuation of the calculus of polynomial, exponential and logarithmic functions, multi variable calculus, partial derivatives, numerical techniques for derivatives and integrals, La Grange multipliers, optimization, applications in probability and statistics. Graphing calculator required–see course syllabus for details. Credit toward mathematics requirements not granted for both MATH 1820 and MATH 1920. Three hours per week. (Prerequisite(s): MATH 1810.)
