Computer Information Technology, A.A.S.

This program is designed for students with employment interest in the computer service industry. The purpose of this program is to provide a student with background knowledge of hardware, software, basic programming and technical skills. These skills are required to manage networks, computer security, operating systems, switches, routers and server administration. These courses will help students prepare for certifications such as A+, Network+, CCNA and the internationally recognized Microsoft CompTIA and Cisco certifications.

This program is not a transfer program, although many institutions accept all or part of the course work toward the bachelor’s degree.
