Engineering Systems Technology, A.A.S.


The Engineering Systems Technology program is designed to provide students with an effective blending of diverse industrial skillsets through a variety of specializations, preparing program completers with the skills needed for immediate entrance into the industrial workforce. Skills emphasized in the program include, but are not limited to: advanced manufacturing applications, computerized design and industrial equipment programming, operations management and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems. 

The Engineering Systems Technology degree at Cleveland State is designed for those students interested in drafting and design with a choice of emphases in architecture, civil and/or mechanical drafting. This program incorporates the knowledge and skills needed to prepare the student for numerous job and career opportunities in their field. This is a technical program designed to prepare students for employment and is not designed as a transfer program, although many institutions accept all or part of the course work toward the bachelor’s degree.
