MATH 1050 - Trigonometric Applications

This course is designed for Engineering Systems Technology students.  Topics include angles, parallel lines, polygons, circles, area of plane figures, definitions of trigonometric functions, graphs of trigonometric functions, right triangles, law of sines and law of cosines, vectors and applications of these topics. One and one half hour lecture and one and one half hour lab per week. (Prerequisite(s): ACT Math of 19 or higher or all required learning support Math competencies or corequisite of MATH 0100. F,S
