CIS 2101 - Network Security

3 credits


This course will provide students with a fundamental understanding of network security principles and implementation. Students will learn about the technologies used and principles involved in creating a secure computer networking environment. Topics include: communication security, infrastructure security, cryptography, access control, authentication, external attack and operational and organization security. This course prepares the student to take CompTIA Security+ Exam. Three hours per week. F
