Health Care Management Concentration: Business, A.A.S.

This concentration is designed for the individual who plans to become an employee in a nursing home, hospital, clinic or a home health care agency.

This is an occupational program designed to equip students for employment. This program is not a transfer program, although many institutions accept all or part of the course work toward the bachelor’s degree.

1In consultation with academic advisor, students may select appropriate Mathematics/Natural Science and Humanities/Fine Arts electives  

2Cooperative Education placements in the healthcare field must be pre-arranged with the Cooperative Education Office before students can enroll in the course. The academic advisor will help determine when the student is prepared for his/her internship.

3In consultation with academic advisor, students may select electives that meet career/college degree requirements (ACCT, ADMN, BUSN, CIS, CIT, CITC, CPE, INFS).  BUSN 1380 - Supervisory Management  is suggested.
