MGT 2620 - Production/Operations Management II

 Detailed study of current topics important to operations management. Includes the impact of industrial engineering (IE) on manufacturing and its applicability in the state-of-the-art facility. The course is in three phases: (a) IE techniques presented are lean production systems, plant layout, ergonomics in job design, time/motion studies and Kaisen; (b) supply chain management; and (c) project management using the PC.
