CHET 1410 - Process Operations I4 credit(s)
Introduction to basic chemical engineering calculations; introduction to flow and heat concepts, fluid flow and separation principles; operational principles of columns, boilers, heat exchangers and refrigeration; applications of common industrial processes; safety, troubleshooting and communication skills are emphasized. Three hours lecture and three hours lab per week. (Prerequisite(s): CHEM 1010 or higher and CHET 1400 and MATH 1130 or 1710.) S
